A little about me...
I’m Sophie! I was born in Wichita Falls, TX and raised in a small town outside of it called Burkburnett. Luckily, living the small-town life wasn’t boring for me, as I grew up with 8 siblings, so I’ve been fighting to be in the spotlight from a very young age.
I graduated from the The University of Texas at Austin with a BFA in Acting and a Minor in Communication Studies, so basically, I am certified in talking and listening.
I have written and directed three short films. My most recent short just won gold for Best First Time Female Director and Best Women Short at The Independent Short Awards which I am so thrilled about. I am passionate about exploring the intricacies of human nature and love crafting stories that delve into life’s grit, beauty, and messiness, leaving audiences curious and contemplative.
When I am not playing pretend, you can find me soaking up the sun by the water or working with children as a nanny (never a dull moment). I think that every meal should be followed by dessert -no exceptions.
